Tour: TransPauli (in English only)
A historical tour on the trail of transgender life through St Pauli.
St. Pauli is a world-famous harbour, entertainment and red light district – and a place of transgender life. The first meeting places were already here in the 1920s, and from the 1950s onwards some corners became queer hotspots – some of which remain so today.
This tour takes you along the traces of transgender life around the Reeperbahn. Historian Eva Decker will show you Germany’s most famous neighbourhood through the ‘queer lens’; you will get to know places, people and stories that you won’t find in any travel guide.
Duration: 90 min.
Prize p.P: 13€
